Some
20% of Britain’s CO2 emissions emanate from road
traffic and the U.K Government has targeted a 10% reduction
in these emissions by the year 2010.
The
SDR unit will make a positive contribution to this effort
by reducing fuel consumption. It has been calculated
that every litre of diesel fuel consumed produces 2.68kg
of CO2 gas!
So,
even a small reduction in fuel consumption can make a
significant contribution to the reduction in the generation
of “greenhouse gases” and other exhaust pollutants.
